   Price: $18-$25

   The 3nd Annual Krispy Kreme Challenge hosted by the University of Kentucky Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter is a 5K race that begins at the University of Kentucky’s Commonwealth Stadium and gently winds through a 3.1 mile course that ends back at the stadium. For runners in the “Challenger” division this unique race has a one hour time limit and the challenge is to cross the finish line after eating a dozen Krispy Kreme doughnuts at the half way mark of the race. This year’s 5K race will once again feature a “Competitive” division where runners will forego the doughnuts and simply run a timed 5K race. All proceeds from the Krispy Kreme Challenge 5K will benefit Lexington Habitat for Humanity.
