Support "Girls on the Run" at your next race! become a SOLEMATE

What is a Girls on the Run SoleMate?

Are you walking your first 5k, running the Derby Marathon, or competing in your first Louisville IronMan? SoleMates® is the charity running “leg” of GOTR and uses the power of running to make a difference for our girls. Teams or individuals (men and women) pursue individual goals such as running a marathon or completing a triathlon while raising money to support participants in GOTR. We are an official charity of The Bank of America Chicago Marathon – but athletes can participate in any event to support GOTR.
Your personal goals, like running a 5k, a half or full marathon, or completing a triathlon can help thousands of young girls live their own dreams. When you sign up for SoleMates, you will receive a dry-fit SoleMates shirt, and your own Active.com webpage to help you meet your fundraising goals. Be a Girls on the Run SoleMate and raise money for Girls on the Run Louisville today!
Runners are asked to raise a minimum of just $150. To sign up for your SoleMates event,
1. Click here!
2.  Select the “Become a Fundraiser” tab to set up your own Active.com website.
Contact Jennifer Thomas for more information.

Girls on the Run® combines training for a 5K (3.1 miles) running event with healthy living education. Our programs instill self-esteem through health education, life skills development, mentoring relationships, and physical training — all of which are accomplished through an active collaboration with girls and their parents, schools, volunteers, staff and the community.
